The challenge
The workflow it replaced ran on spreadsheets and messaging threads, so there was no reliable record of who approved what, when. Any replacement had to be usable one-handed on a site, on a bad connection.
What we did
- Data model designed around phase gates and write-once records
- Next.js application with an asynchronous job pipeline behind it
- Mobile-first flows built for field conditions rather than desks
- Role and permission model matched to how PMC firms are actually structured
Outcome
A production platform in daily use by project management firms, replacing the spreadsheet and messaging workflow it was built to retire.
