The challenge
Enterprise buyers will not accept answers they cannot trace, and cannot accept one customer's documents influencing another's answers. Both constraints had to hold at the architecture level, not as features.
What we did
- Ingestion and chunking pipeline across the document formats customers actually hold
- Retrieval with citation tracking, so every claim resolves to a source passage
- Guardrails on what the system will answer and when it declines
- Tenant isolation enforced in the data layer rather than the application layer
Outcome
A production platform serving multiple enterprise tenants, with the audit trail and data-handling posture their procurement teams require.
